Bottle Tree Park is a 7ha park. It is used to be forest and now transformed into a beautiful sanctuary of a restaurant, a pond, kampung-style buildings, mini-zoo, basketball and volleyball courts, an obstacle course and a paintball field. There is a little pond full of guppies, swordtails, goldfish etc for kids to fish. It is called the “Longkang Fishing” Pond. It cost $10 per kid to fish in the pond and a tank and net are be provided.

Getting there:
By Car
Exit from SLE (Yishun). From Lentor Avenue, turn left into Yishun Avenue 1. At the traffic light, turn right towards Sembawang Road. Keep right, then turn into Lorong Chencharu. (Opposite Sembawang Country Club and Airbase.)

By Public Transport
Take the North-South Line and alight at Khatib MRT station. It’s a 15-minute walk to Bottle Tree Park’s side entrance opposite Yishun Stadium. Or take bus from opposite Yishun Stadium bus stop Services 39, 85, 851, 852, 853, 854, 855, 857, 858, 965 and 969 stop there.

The Animal Resort

It is a great place to escape from the concrete city building to a simpler "Kampung" life style. Kampung' means 'village' or 'community in Malay. This place offers small pets and farm animals where you could feed them with the food from the Resort. You can give small donation; you get to feed the fishes, rabbits, chicken, goose, horse, goats and other resident animals.

• Exit by Jalan Kayu slip road and travel for 0.75 km (passing by shop houses and a petrol kiosk)
• Turn right to Seletar West Farmway 4
• Travel for 0.31 km till a side road and turn right to Seletar West Farmway 6
• Travel for 0.89 km till a side road, turn left and proceed to travel to The Animal Resort

By public Transport
From Sengkang MRT take LRT towards Sengkang West Loop. Alight after the 4 stops. Then walk towards Animal Resort for about 25 minutes.

The Pasir Ris in Malay means 'beach bolt-rope', implying a narrow beach. The park offers modern park activities such as pony rides, water sports, cycling, inline skating and barbeque rental, but also features a carefully preserved 6-ha mangrove forest.

Walk to Pasir Ris Town Park then take bus 403 towards Pasir Ris Interchange. Alight after 9 stops or Before Pasir Ris Way and walk towards Pasir Ris Park.

A "Longkang" fishing is an alternative fishing activity for kids if you don’t want to wait for hours and hours in order to hook up a tiny fish. "LongKang" in Malay means drainage.
